Slow grinder 1.0 - site-specific installation - Light! More Light! exhibition, IZZO, Budapest, Hungary, 2025
At the core of the Slow Grinder 1.0 installation is a slowly rotating mechanism composed of mirror elements. The different news-channel footages projected onto it are broken into numerous fragments, whose reflected surfaces move around the viewers; their meaning disintegrates, along with the manipulative narrative behind them. The soundscape is composed of overlapping audio from multiple news channels, slowed down and layered into a chaotic, almost hypnotic noise.

A térinstalláció központi magja egy tükörelemekből álló, lassan forgó mechanika. A két irányból rávetülő hírcsatornák felvételeit megannyi darabra bontja, a szétszóródó képtöredékek a nézők körül keringenek; jelentésük felbomlik, elveszítve manipulatív narratívájukat. A hangkörnyezet több hírtelevízió egymásra rétegzett hanganyagaiból épül fel, amelyek lelassítva, kaotikus, szinte hipnotikus zajmezőként töltik be a teret.
