Fractal Wind is a kinetic sculpture driven by natural wind. The artwork consists of 85 propellers in four different sizes, ranging from 23 cm to 300 cm in diameter. These elements are arranged in a symmetrical fractal structure that generates an organic, constantly changing motion.
The propellers rotate in alternating directions depending on their scale. The stainless-steel surfaces create a dynamic play of light reflections, enhancing the sense of movement and vitality. For me, movement is always closely connected to life: the sculpture behaves like a strange living organism, responding to the wind and acting in harmony with natural forces.
Through its scale, materiality, and constant motion, Fractal Wind invites the viewer to reconsider the relationship between control and surrender. The sculpture does not represent the wind; it allows the wind to appear, making visible a force that normally remains intangible.
This work is part of the experimental Fragmented Wind series, which explores and visualizes the nature of wind through different, site-specific sculptural forms.

A FraktálSzél egy szél által működtetett kinetikus szobor, mely nyolcvanöt, különböző méretű – 23 és 300 cm közötti átmérőjű – propellerből áll, amelyek egy szimmetrikus, fraktális rendszerbe állnak össze. Ennek ellenére a szerkezet nem egy rögzített formát ír le, hanem egy állandóan változó mozgásfolyamatot.
A különböző méretű elemek egymással ellentétes irányban forognak. A rozsdamentes acél felületeken megjelenő fényreflexiók folyamatosan átrendezik a látványt, így a mozgás fokozottan dinamikus érzetet kelt. A szobor nem gépként működik, hanem egyfajta élő organizmus hatását kelti: érzékenyen reagál a környezetére, működése a szél intenzitásától és irányától függ.
A mű nem a szelet ábrázolja, hanem teret ad a megjelenésének: egy alapvetően láthatatlan természeti jelenséget tesz vizuálisan megélhetővé. A FraktálSzél a Fragmented Wind kísérleti sorozat része, amely a szél természetét különböző, gyakran helyspecifikus szobrászati helyzeteken keresztül vizsgálja.
